prompt. That looks the same just like in other linked versons.

Sorry It actually didn't fixed the issue. I haven't uninstalled the ckt2
version and grub thought it's older one.
I realized that today uninstalled it and installed the newest packages and it
won't work like previously.

Whenever I try updating packages listed bellow via Software Updater,
Ubuntu gets stuck on purple screen after restart. No key combination
seems to do anything. I can login to desktop only via recovery and then

Touchegg indicates a 2 or 3 finger gesture most of the time. Only very

Hi, also confirm the problem on UX303LA with 205 BIOS.

evtest or acpi_listen don't show keypress on FN+F5/F6 (interestingly F3
and F4 are captured and are controling not existing keyboard backlight
in this model).

The hardware is Dell Vostro V131 notebook. While using the system at random
moments kernel hardfeezes. Ther are no inforamtions logged nowhere. The view on
the screen is just freezing, nothing works except hard power off. I was trying

Apart from completely disabling usb_modeswitch (Ralph's suggestion in
comment #12), it is also possible to disable usb_modeswitch for this
particular device, by commenting out this line:

UEFI bios i have ubuntu with XEN hypervisor and software RAID1. On kernel
3.11-15 all works good, but on 3.11-17 i have this error on normal boot (normal
option in grub):

So, kernel 3.11-17 is good, problem is with my kernel, what i attached.
I compile this and make package with this kernel becouse i need kernel

I have checked carefully, 3.11-17 is fine, so the problem is strictly
with the kernel attached above. I compiled and packaged it with the
intention to host Xen 4.1 server (pv). After installing said package
and rebooting, the system doesn't boot automatically.
