We can confirm the same through Multipass on QEMU rather than Parallels.

Looking at the kernel logs this seems to be related to a FUSE mount that
I have running:
If it doesn't require an instance to break S2I, that suggests something
in our daemon after all.

Can you confirm whether this was when you had Multipass instances
running (multipass list), or just when Multipass is installed?
Multipass just manages qemu/kvm VM - the same bug is likely to be caused
by libvirt or a manually started qemu VM. In essence, this would be a
bug in KVM

Upgrading to zfs-initramfs 0.6.5.9-4ubuntu1 breaks my boot.
I've EFI and a small ext2 boot partition, and the rest of my SDD is a
zfs pool. After upgrade I'm dropped in the initramfs shell and no zpools
are available.
Downgrading to 0.6.5.8-0ubuntu9 makes it boot again.
FWIW I still can't pair with my hands-free system.
