I really understand what you mean. I told my friends too to buy HP
because before it was always running smooth with all available Linux
distros. But this is crazy. Two HP 455 Laptops with these stupid wifi
adapters. As if there were not other adapter avail.

I have another client with a "Kubuntu" version - almost same HP
Notebook. This wifi adapter I did not get up running at all. If it might
be of any help. Please let me know.

This apport was now generated under Linux Mint on a slightly different
HP 455 Laptop. Here are the options:
options rtl8723be fwlps=0 swlps=0 msi=1
in /etc/modprobe.d
Without the msi=1 it did not work.
Another HP laptop same Model (also HP 455 but diff look) wifi does not
work with this

which ended in this error/bug mentioned here:

Hi Brad,
I cannot run any scripts nor I can I test any new kernels right now
because I was configuring these two laptops for friends. I do not own
any of them myself but if I find the time I will try to give response to
any question. I will then first upgrade to the newest kernel (4.6) then

Could it be that the problem is related to the size of the swap file?
The swap file needs to have same size as physical ram?
