Thanks for this. I managed to get my Arc Touch SE mouse to work with an
otherwise stock 16.04 system by changing the setting as mentioned in
#25, COMMENTING OUT the rule in #27 (merely changing it didn't seem to
work) and then connecting as in #16.
Very grateful, as the mouse was a Christmas prese
Belay that, hibernate doesn't work reliably either. Back to looking for
a fix for this bug…

Title:
[MacBookPro11,1] Suspend delayed
After experiencing a variety of nasty crashes, I stopped using suspend
altogether (I tried upgrading to the utopic kernel, without benefit).
I've just tried using hibernate instead (note, this is disabled by
default in Trusty, at least, but can easily be reenabled, e.g. see
http://ubuntuhandbook.
This bug affects me. While the only problem I can directly trace to it
is the delay in suspend, the system logs show a kernel oops, which may
well indicate more serious underlying problems. (About ⅓ of the time
when resuming, the system does not restart properly, e.g. the screen
does not come back)
It's not so much that I'm unable to run the command, it's that it's
pointless, as any human can see. Sorry, Automated Script!

The bug report says that debian.README.gz is missing. The directory
listing in #5 shows no debian.README.gz. (In any case, shouldn't it be
called README.Debian.gz?)

I'm sorry, you're really making no sense. There is something to look
into, because two other people have the hardware and have reported
themselves affected. The report should be left open to give them the
opportunity to respond. There is no need for them to open a new bug
report, which merely adds
Closing this bug just because I no longer have the hardware makes no
sense. Note that two other people claim to be affected by the bug.
Also, please don't pollute Launchpad with so much boilerplate (as in
your comment #6), it just makes bug reports harder to read.

Sorry, you're far too late, for me at least. That machine broke down a
couple of years ago.
