@Korba,

I agree, with hwe-5.19.0-32 and 60Hz, I have also the audio speed up issue.
I must confess, now I am a bit confused. But I was "sure" that after the

Thank you also for fixing the bug.
@Korba,
currently I do not have the Kernel 32 on my system, to be sure that 60Hz did

@Koba,
I am sorry,
Kernel 37 and 30Hz works perfectly (audio volume OK).

Set refresh rate to 30 Hz, audio will be OK, but the volume will be

5.4 was a long time ago, so I guess there's no point keeping this open

Public bug reported:
An intermittent problem, but to reproduce:
* unplug a USB device
* plug it back in
* notice it hasn't been detected
After this point, no amount of plugging or unplugging seems to change
anything: nothing appears in `dmesg`, `lsusb` shows only internal USB
hardware, and
is
playing, it does not continually send audio packets to the headphones
allowing the other device to play audio correctly, irrespective of which
device is deemed the priority by the headphones.

I'm experiencing the same problem.
As a host OS I'm running an up to date Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS x86_64 with
kernel 5.15.0-47-generic #51-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 11 07:51:15 UTC 2022
x86_64.
I'm using the latest VirtualBox from the Ubuntu 22.04 package
repository: 6.1.34-dfsg-3~ubuntu1.22.04.1

Doesn't this add a massive security issue, in that you can plug a
malicious thunderbolt peripheral into any Ubuntu laptop and read the
entire unencrypted RAM space? The IOMMU is there for a reason...

I can confirm the "5.13.0-41-lowlatency" kernel which I just grabbed on
my Ubuntu Studio laptop has fixed the distorted USB audio bug.
Thank you devs!

Anyone know when we will see this in the Ubuntu Studio Low Latency
kernel??

Title:
audio from external sound card
This bug is affecting me as well. Considering I run ubuntu studio, and
the reason I run it is for audio, this is definitely more than a medium
priority bug for me. This is happening on my Scarlett 2i2 audio
interface.
I am running kernel:
5.13.0-40-lowlatency

To add here, I just started experiencing the same (or very similar)
issue on a X1 Carbon 9th Gen -- but when suspending rather than trying
to power off.
Closing the lid would appear to put the machine into suspend but:
(1) it still runs --> gets hot in a bag --> eventually powers off due to
ion? Could you fix it?
Additional question: In general I use only verified snaps. Could you
verify the publisher of the mentioned Smplayer snap? She/He seems to be
OK.
Thanks,
Richard
