Just did a fresh install with an dist-upgrade to 4.4.0-64, and apt-get install zfs worked just fine:). After reboot the exported zpools were automatically imported. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to zfs-linux in Ubuntu.

Had the same issue. I was unable to import my zpools after a clean install (I did a zpool export before the reinstall). I'm running the following version of Ubuntu: $ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description:Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS Release:16.04
