Thank you for your suggestion to test the latest kernel. Unfortunately,
I am having trouble booting using the suggested kernel (5.13-rc2).
I have downloaded the appropriate (I think) kernel packages from the link you
provided:
Public bug reported:
Expected Result: System resumes from suspend and displays the log in
screen to unlock the computer.
Actual Result: System displays a black screen with a flashing cursor in
the upper left and cannot be interacted with. Hard reboot is required to
get back to a working system.
