I can confirm same problem and solution - missing device id's and USB3 incompatibility (very sporadic working) for HP ProBook 450 G1. Kernel id patch and custom compiled kernel with disabled USB3 completely resolves bluetooth problems. Below - output with default kernel: uname -a Linux
