During installation of Ubuntu Server 14.04.1, there is point where it
scans the "cd" (even if you are booting from DVD or USB it still says
"CD" -- I've tried both ways).
After
I heard that some SSHD devices may cause this issue on current kernel of trusty.
`sudo hdparm -I /dev/sda | grep Model` can be used to get the disk model name.
Using the kernel parameter 'libata.noacpi=1' may be able to solve this problem.
