Using Ubuntu 12.04 on amd64 Asus K53S laptop. Seen this problem today for the first time after standard kernel update to version 3.2.0-57-generic on only one out of three USB ports on first reboot after upgrade. Plugging any device into that port causes the messages in log described above. I sus
