could you please file a new report by executing the following in a terminal:
ubuntu-bug xorg
Please ensure you have xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes
button for attaching additional debugging information
I have the same problem with an Apple 25'' Thunderbolt display and a
MacBookPro9,2 running ubuntu 14.04.
The display can only be detected during boot.
If I unplug the monitor while it's working ubuntu freezes
If I plug the monitor after the boot process nothing happens.

Konstantin Nazarov, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
