The issue is that I'm so far not able to boot from 13.10 after the installation (the image on the usb key boots most of the time with acpi=0). I'm stuck with the same error as reported by Ma Jun in #7 I'm going to try chroot to install 3.11-rc1 from the usbkey. If you have a simpler way to get a
