Could anybody here post a dmesg with i8042.debug=1 , without nomux and
notimeout (warning: passwords may be recorded if they are typed on the
keyborard)?

Got hit by this with the Fujitsu U574 too, but there adding the grub
params fixed touchpad after suspend too.

Results with 3.13.0-031300rc2-generic :
mouse does not work. I didn't see, if it does with kernel parameters mentioned
in first post. I suppose it does.

10.10: does not start, complains about efi_ something.
11.04: after selecting "try without installing", just freezes, black screen.
11.10: starts up. mouse does not work.
I did not try releases prior to 10.10, since this is new laptop, and
