It would be good to see if this problem comes back, like it did for you in the past. If it does not, it would be helpful if you can boot back into the latest Ubuntu kernel, and apply the updates to see if the fix upstream made it into the stable kernel. If it did not, we can perform a reverse

Yes, I can login as a guest then log out and login to my account and the keyboard works. It seems to only happen on boot, and when I click the laguage icon EN it works. This also seems to be the issue on another laptop of mine I just installed 14.04 on. So I'm guessing this is a bug, but I
