I've tried upstream kernel v3.14-rc7, as requested in comment 3. No
change. I'm still having issues trying to re-enable bluetooth and
reconnect to devices.

v3.14 kernel[0].

I have tried the workaround from bug 1244764 comment 6, but it had no
effect. My own workaround from bug 1244764 comment 14 doesn't
consistently work, either.
