Hello, yes I had put back battery that I had taken out 3years ago.
But each time, from 10 last times, I turn computer on, 1st time it turns
on: black screen, 2nd time I turn it on: it works but sometimes with
/tmp error (The disk drive for /tmp is not ready). So perhaps my problem
could be PC

Have copied from Nautilus all of the .conf from previous Precise. Will

Related to this subject is (but there are much more errors wich could do the

I went back to Lucid but couldn't stay on because no more supported.
Furthermore I installed lightdm on it as explained on author's blog, and
after rebooting xorg finished as before last Precise: white mouse on
black screen.
Not touching lightdm anymore since not compatible with no Ubuntu.
Finally I'm staying on Precise.
I think choosing option to ask password at beginning, before entering in
Ubuntu did the trick.
Now buttons are working fine although now we pass from Edid Check Sum to
Ubuntu login Screen without BIOS waiting screen. ON/OFF works.
Electricity does not grab ON/OFF
Yes SUSPEND (= sleep) button and screensavers does work fine now.
I think it messed everything up because it wanted to go fast into Ubuntu
so it did not watch if I was putting electricity on or button on. But
with a password for 1st login, password do stop this mess, and buttons
and electricity

Precise crashed again in a way I've never seen before. Did before crashing:
ALT+CTRL+F1
sudo service service lightdm stop
sudo X -configure
sudo Xorg -configure
sudo cp ~/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
sudo service lightdm start
Said Compiz crashed. Couldn't send error because I wanted to get
As I had said this one bug has got nothing to do with all other time
Precise screen went black.
I did not install neither re-install neither re-configure nothing, I
just did as I said up. I think PC was going to change the way of viewing
power supply because in first reboot I could press button
