FWIW, while this particular issue was fixed (Wireless dropping connection), my Intel 7260 card also has integrated bluetooth, which appears to be failing periodicially. My dmesg is littered with these (usb 2-4 is the 7260 card / Bluetooth): [36001.670269] usb 2-4: reset high-speed USB device

I tested with v3.15-rc3-utopic. It appears that this bug has been fixed in this upstream branch. I will update the tags. Now that I have a mainline kernel sitting alongside the stock 14.04 kernel, what should I do moving forward? In other words, when can I expect this fix to be pushed to
