I too have a Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 running Ubuntu 14.04, and I too need to
rmmod/blacklist the ideapad_laptop module to get the wifi running.
Experience the exact same behavior while testing with the following
kernel: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15-rc5-utopic
