October 24, 2014 -- tried again to load Ubuntu updates through softerware
updater -- once again the same error message and same problem.
I guess I might as well go back to MS Windows -- I'm not going to reload Linux
Ubuntu and lose all the programs I've loaded without knowing that this issue is
I continually get an error when using Software Updater to download and install
latest upgrades to Ubuntu 14.04. Error involves inability to install the
Headers package. This was originally listed as a bug and confirmed (see that
information on the bug page under Bug #1348964), but has now
[Expired for linux (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]
