Before that (as I do need some usable system every once in a while),
installed the year-old elementaryOS.org Luna as a lightweight Ubuntu
12.04 LTS derivative.

even DARE TO pull off without a dedicated test system.
Upstream testing as things stand is beyond Rocket Science for in the
