This bug affects me too, and I have the right firmware installed. After
resume, but not every time, the firmware fails to load. See for instance
this output from dmesg | grep -i blue:

You need to load firmware. It can't be distributed with Ubuntu due to
legal reasons.
You can fix it yourself.

The message appears (with the Ubuntu kernel) everytime the computer
