Additional info for comment #9: according to reports on 4pda forum S3/S4 behave erratically with Windows too, so probably there is issues with BIOS. What works here is Windows Connected Standy and Linux Suspend Freeze. Maybe BIOS issue could be workaround somehow to make S3/S4 works too, not sure
