Joseph...I wish I could help in a timely way. But I have some other
pressing deadlines and more to the point, after reading the link, I would
have to learn a lot more about ubuntu before feeling competent in doing
that testing efficiently.
I have asked a more knowledgeable friend if he can help.

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.2 kernel[0].
