Dear Chris and Uli, I have installed Lubuntu 16.04 on another disk with pokini1. Running kernel 4.4.0 does not produce the bug anymore. But, the Gui is still broken, just no more kernel NULL pointer dereference error. I had to change the display also and it is not HDMI. I had gotten following
