Are you sure ? I've tested the same issue on the same hardware using the
Ubuntu Kernel 4.7.4 . this is exactly what was asked so the bug is
complete.
Latest Firmware is 1.3 for this Imac

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?

I've had this issue on my iMac 7,1 A1224 ever since I've installed
Ubuntu 16.04. When waking from suspend, the screen will be washed out.
Rebooting the system fixes this issue. I am aware that this issue
happens for this machine across other versions of Ubuntu and
