Found a workaround in the Internet. Boot your laptop on battery, then
shutdown it (not reboot) and boot again. Then suspend starts working on
battery too.

I experience absolutely the same problem after upgrading to Kubuntu
18.04. I am using Dell Latitude e5570 laptop and everything worked fine
on 16.04. Please let me know what info is needed to investigate the
problem.

FYI: Downgrade from recent BIOS to version 203 fixed the iusse. The
following BIOS versions are contain this bug: 204, 300, 301.

Even if it is a firmware bug related to Skylake architecture? I don't

Gábor Auth, if a Ubuntu user reported a bug about it, then it is clearly
related to Ubuntu. How many notebooks you think this issue doesn't
change this.
