Yes, jsalisbury. I've noticed that kernel versions 4.15.0-20, 4.15.0-22
and 4.15.0-23 don't have this problem, but every other one in the 4.15
kernel series does.

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior
kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer

- The cursor hangs from time to time whether I'm watching a video or
- scrolling through a webpage and I have to use the commands "sudo
- modprobe -r hid-multitouch && sudo modprobe multitouch" to keep enabling
