Title:
  No more sound on lenovo R61i booting MATE 16.04

Bug description:
  When booting MATE 16.04 on my lenovo R61i, I no longer have sound. I
  was able to listen to a YouTube video from the laptop when booting
  Linux Mint, but can no longer hear ANYTHING when booting MATE 16.04
