I did a bisect for this bug, now it is weekend and I was able to do
tests on this computer. The bisect result is:

The crash is still present with 5.4.0-24. The attached file has syslog,
Xorg.0.log and xsession-errors.
I noticed there are two workarounds for this:
1) Set the intel Xorg session instead of modesetting;
2) Change vblank_mode parameter from xfwm4: auto or glx will trigger this
crash, xpresent
Can you please test 5.4.0-24?

I just tested the Xubuntu Beta ISO and, from it, I was able to reproduce
the system crash.
Unfortunately I was unable to obtain any logs, as sshd was no longer
responsive and it was a live system.

This crash seems to be easy to reproduce. I made an Apitrace of the part
of Gurumin with the scene that caused the first crash and let it
replaying endlessly. After 1h30min, the system crashed again.
