Sure. I'll send dmesg to you once the issue is triggered.
The audio doesn't cause function issue. The only problem is that
sometimes volume control keys don't work but I doubt if its related to
the error. I just think since it's a LTS version, might as well submit
patches that fix the audio error
@Mike
for the audio error message, does this cause any function issue!?
On my side, i also get this message.
for the wifi issue, could cat the whole dmesg to me once the issue is triggered.
The wifi issue can't be triggered on my side.

I think the chipset for my ap is realtek, but not 100% sure. Theres no
information on it that I can find online - I can check with my provider
if necessary, but this level of constant connect/disconnect doesn't
happen with my mac or even on windows (same machine, boot from another
drive)

Do you know what kind of chipset is your wifi ap or could you share you
model of wifi ap!? e.g. Broadcom, Realtek?
I have a same machine as yours and can't simply trigger the issue 1.
Could you dump the dmesg to me when the issue 1 is triggered!?
Please also cat /proc/cmdline

No. Same issue still happens. I'm now back to the LTS kernel, which
received an update BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-5.4.0-48-generic with nvidia
driver 450
The same issue still exist, and I think it got even more severe. Chrome
will freeze even opening a new tab some time. Also the gnome animations
@Mike,
Are the point 2&3 gone!?
please also cat /proc/cmdline?!

Hi,
The iwlwifi issue is still there, and complete xorg freeze still
happens, but less frequently. What's the difference between 5.6 and 5.4
kernel?
I thought 5.4 should be LTS? May be the fixes are already incorporated
in the upstream kernel updates? When are we going to have kernel updates
to
hi Mike
Could you simply "apt install linux-oem-5.6" instead!?
Then check the issue again.
Thanks
