Title:
  broadcom wireless adapter disappears after reboot

Status in bcmwl package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Used Updater to install additional drivers for my Broadcom wireless. It 
worked at first but when I booted up the next day the wifi icon was gone as if 
I had to wifi adapter at all.
  my specs: 
  lspci -nn -d 14e4:

  This Below is what happens when I tried a fix that was suggested:

  sudo apt install bcmwl-kernel-source
  [sudo] password for anansi:
