I already opened a new bug for kernel 5.15.0-47-generic
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1989941
The previous Kernel 5.15.0-46-generic doesn't show this issue on my
machine.

I am still experiencing this issue:
$ uname -a
Linux dev 5.15.0-47-generic #51-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 11 07:51:15 UTC 2022 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ lspci -k | grep Network
04:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless-AC 9260 (rev ff)
$ md5sum
Hi,
running the current 5.15 Kernel, wifi is working again with the firmware
from the jammy repository.
$ uname -a
Linux hostname 5.15.0-46-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 4 18:03:25 UTC 2022
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ md5sum /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-9260-th-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode
Is this still an issue with the latest 5.15 kernel and linux-firmware in
22.04? Reverting firmware to make it work is an interesting data point
but obviously not a long-term solution.
If you still encounter problems, please run 'apport-collect 1967842'.

I just want to add something to my last comment, as it was misleading.
The adapter stopped working again. After some exploration, I discovered
that my dual-boot with Windows 10 was messing up with the accessibility
to the WiFi.

I had the same issue today (May 5th 2022), and the workaround proposed
by Giacomo Tazzari worked just fine.
Strangely, the adapter was working just fine after the Ubuntu 22.04
installation (earlier this week). So maybe some recent update caused the
issue.

I also ran into this on upgrade to 22.04 - and the workaround worked for
me too.

Title:
Ubuntu 22.04 Beta: linux-firmware
thanks Giacomo Tazzari. I am going to test the workaround.
This is an LTS release, we hope that this bug does not stand here forever until
the coming release will be out.
Cheers

I use an Intel Corporation Wireless-AC 9260 as well and just got hit by
the same bug, after updating from 21.10 to 22.04
I solved it by replacing /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-9260-th-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode
with one extracted from https://packages.ubuntu.com/impish-
updates/linux-firmware
