Public bug reported:

Hi,

Sometimes (but not always) the GPU fails to wake up properly from
suspend. Sometimes the laptop will work correctly.

The user (using X.org) will experience a black screen and an apparent
freeze. If one waits long enough (tens of seconds - up to a few
minutes), there will be very slow updates of the screen display
(typically a lock screen) and some intermittent corruption.

CAPS LOCK works One can change to a VT, but there can be a long delay
until the system responds. Once in a VT, the system can be restarted
properly.

H/W: Lenovo P14s Gen2 AMD (5850U). I didn't experience this bug on
Impish Indri, it surfaced after installing Jammy. I'm using X.org (KDE
Plasma).

Attaching a trace from a failed resume.

Very likely related / the same upstream bug:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1850

I also get similar Fence fallback timer messages in log until rebooted:
