Public bug reported: There is a regression in the kernel somewhere between: linux- image-5.19.0-21-generic and linux-image-5.19.0-41-generic that is causing battery drain on an HP Spectre x360 Convertible 14-ea1xxx.
I am attaching the logs from running this tool: https://github.com/intel/S0ixSelftestTool on both kernels. I have tested this with the kernel from Ubuntu 23.04 (version 6.2) and the mainline kernel 6.3 and the results are the same as linux- image-5.19.0-41-generic - zero s0ix residence. I am also attaching the output from: sudo cat /sys/kernel/debug/pmc_core/pch_ip_power_gating_status I think the key line is: PCH IP: 6 - SPC State: On This never turns to Off on the newer kernels.
