I was having a similar error with dpkg as follows --
In my case my grub configuration was erroring - I had added zswap to the
system, and added the line "
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
zswap.enabled=1"
My mistake, the correct method to add the line is "
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Status: Invalid => Fix Released

I've been able to boot into kernel 5.19.0-46-generic. Still unable to
get kernel 6.2.0-24-generic working. Doing sudo apt update I get the
