Using Xubuntu 11.10 on a Toshiba Satellite LD350-11S with an ATI HD3100
using fglrx. Following observations:
1. Manual suspend (via sudo pm-suspend or via Xfce's power-settings
apllet's menu) always works.
2. Suspend on
Sorry for the delay, I was pretty busy in university. Now the system has
been upgraded to Saucy and the bug is still present. Apport information

I will do some testing asap, for now I can tell following: The problem
still occurs in Xubuntu 12.10. But now the password is not being asked
neither on lid close nor on manual suspend. This might be a thing of
different configuration though.

Photon, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
