This is the only Ubuntu server release I've run on this system. I can
try 12.04 and see if the problem exists there if that would be helpful.

I understand why you ask - on

they don't mention that v1.04 fixes anything about USB; as I am able to print
with usblp, I am not sure that upgrading the Bios will help - however, one
never knows - I will do the upgrad
I did not fix this bug. It makes little sense that I should be asked to
do the SRU process for this bug. It was fixed upstream by whomever fixes
bugs of the kernel.
