Title:
067b:2305 printing issue
Borph, thank you for providing the requested information. Would you mind
testing Trusty via http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ in
order to test against newer Intel linux-firmware? This data point help a
lot, given the kernel call trace would be collateral damage from the
firmware error.
In a new setup (Sitecom router, no more Zyxel) and Ubuntu 13.10, I still
have the same problem via Wifi:
[ 1782.075212] IPv6: wlan0: IPv6 duplicate address
2001:abc:1234:b45d:1af4:6aff:fe9c:ced4 detected!
[ 1813.616483] IPv6: wlan0: IPv6 duplicate address

zettberlin, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
It's not so much that I'm unable to run the command, it's that it's
pointless, as any human can see. Sorry, Automated Script!

Micha Lenk, this would appear addressed in Trusty:
git clone git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-trusty.git cd ubuntu-trusty
grep -r CONFIG_IPV6_MROUTE=y | grep debian grep -r CONFIG_IP_MROUTE=y |
grep debian
debian.master/config/config.common.ubuntu:CONFIG_IPV6_MROUTE=y
There's no actual regression though because, although the generic mouse
driver doesn't have the sync issue, using it is even worse since it
doesn't expose any touchpad-specific functionality.

Jeffrey Knockel, thank you for your comments. As Allen Crooks is the
original reporter, I would like to let him decide which he would prefer.
Thank you for your understanding.

Sam Davies, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. In
Trusty, the timer for amd64 is 250Hz. I'm aware that the Ubuntu Kernel Team
strongly prefers remaining as synched with upstream on default configurations
as possible. Despite this, if this new default wouldn't work out
