OK, after leaving the system running for a few hours running 3.17, I'm
showing 5 spurious disconnects in the same number of hours with the same
information in the logs as above. And I don't know if it helps, but I
found someone else is having the same problem with a very similar

Looking at the bluez code, this is actually the expected behaviour.
Currently bluez only supports one modem, as there's not really a good
way to support HSP with multiple modems (which modem should it use when
pressing the call button?).
Need to discuss this better internally and with the product
