These are different kernels. You tested it on xenial kernel. So you can change
to "verification-done-xenial".
But in this case the verification is not so important, because the fix came
from upstream and it is very simple.
You can try other kernels too. But since you are not very
I wasn't able to reproduce the bug using the test kernel with commit
da1674843 as the tip and Powershell as the backup client(Using the
scripts posted in #182).
I am able to reproduce the bug with that kernel using the Windows Server
Backup GUI, it just took 35 hours.

I found a workaround: I connected my monitor with VGA, and did a
complete boot. After that, I connected my monitor with VGA _and_ HDMI,
and did a complete boot again.
In Gnome Settings I deactivated the monitor on VGA, and defined HDMI as

I can partially reproduce this bug on Dell Latitude E6420.
Namely in 16.04 (4.4 kernel) backlight was always on after (re)boot and
screenlock, however waking up (opening laptop) does not switch backlight
on. Moreover I could control the backlight (i.e. switch it off),
contrary to some reports
I don't think that's correct. Xenial refers to 16.04 and the kernel in
question is 4.4.0-22.
I just tested it and the patch works as was expected.
But there are issues with pulseaudio and A2DP. It sometimes work but
mostly not. I get the following errors:
