Title:
using Cheese with 090c:037c
Public bug reported:
Bug is reproductible each time i run cheese with camera attached:
cheese works fine for several minutes then kernel crashes and cheese dies.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04
Package: linux-image-4.4.0-28-generic 4.4.0-28.47
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu
Fixed in 4.4.0-28?
I had this same problem when I updated to 16.4 last month on 4.4.0-24.

4.4.9 kernels and noticed that Ubuntu had 4.4.0-28 available. I
Oh, I gave you a link for a wrong deb, that is for 4.2.
Remove the old one and install this
https://launchpad.net/~hanipouspilot/+archive/ubuntu/rtlwifi/+files
/rtlwifi-new-dkms_0.5_all.deb
And I suggest removing kernel 4.2, since grub with always boot with the
latest kernel.
