I had this same problem when I updated to 16.4 last month on 4.4.0-24.
It worked fine when I booted from any of the 4.2 revisions I had
previously (4.2.0-16, 4.2.0-36, 4.2.0-38). Today I was about to try the
4.4.9 kernels and noticed that Ubuntu had 4.4.0-28 available. I
instal
Oh, I gave you a link for a wrong deb, that is for 4.2.
Remove the old one and install this

And I suggest removing kernel 4.2, since grub with always boot with the
latest kernel.

above.
dkms was already installed so I moved to install those 2 debs.
The bt deb installed with no problems.
The rtlwifi deb could not install with the software center as it told me that a
later version is already installed. S
We see that it is not easy to resolve because of Qualcomm team fault.
So I made a DKMS package that can be used to fix this issue.

Running Mint 17.3 KDE on a Toshiba P55t-B5154 dual-boot with Windows 10.
If I shut down the laptop from Windows, the battery remains 100% when I
power up in the morning. If I shut down from Mint, the battery is
drained sometimes to 70%depending on time between power-down and power

Bluez 5.40 on Ubuntu and 5.38 on CM12.1 phone also laggy. But one detail
could help devs to find the bug. While pairing keyboard with PC i see a
number, that i have to type on the keyboard to connect it it. So typing
that numbers is always very fast and stable, i did try it a lot of
times. But once
I have to add that keyboard is not laggy with old bluez, but it is still
disconnecting frequently.

I have Samsung bluetooth keyboard bkb10 and laptop with bcm 43142
bluetooth adapter. Keyboard is very laggy(unsusable), and also
connection drops frequetly (i guess usually it is kernel bug causing
drops, it drops every time after some intel i915 bug in kernel, but not
always after that intel bug).
Apologies, finger trouble while checking status and status updated in

Sorry, my netbook had become totally unusable (the keyboard was unresponsive on
specific websites, the CPU invariably between 85% and 100% aetc etc) and I
couldn't afford waiting for another kernel release in the unlikely hope that
this would resolve the matter.
I simple made a fresh re-install
