The seems to be related to unity since using KDE, i'm using about 700Mo
when not doing anything while using 1.9 Go after 12 hours of not doing
anything with unity.
When closing & re-opening my unity session, the RAM drop to 800Mo and
slowly increases over the time, still without doing anything!

I'm on Ubuntu 16.04.1, and A2DP Bluetooth audio still skips about twice
a minute, though randomly. I'm playing the same MP3 track on repeat,
using SMPlayer. If I do that in Kubuntu 16.04.1, there are no skips.

I had a similar problem: newly bought USB stick, trying to install
Ubuntu 16.04 on a newly bought SSD in my Intel NUC6i3. Failing as soon
as the actual installation had to start.
The NUC already runs almost a year with an external HDD. I added the SSD
M.2 stick last weekend. Formatting the SSD as

test the latest mainline kernel (now 4.8-rc5) as it is released.

would seem a user error, versus a software bug. Could you please advise?

If I connect my monitor to my computer with a VGA cable my monitor goes
blank, complains of no video signal, then goes to sleep as soon as the
kernel attempts to enable mode setting.
Turning the monitor off and back on does not help, unplugging the VGA
seeker5528, in order to allow additional upstream developers to examine the
issue, at your earliest convenience, could you please test the latest upstream
kernel available from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D ?
