patched 4.11 kernel [1] on TB16?
I applied the patch to 4.11 - the patch cannot be cleanly applied to
Xenial/Yakkety/Zesty kernel.
I'll do the proper backport when the patch is being accepted by upstream
maintainers.

I got this bug with kubuntu 16.04.02 hwe-update.
I've updated from 16.04.1 which worked fine, therefore I downgrade to
