I can confirm the patch works on the TB15 at my hand, can you guys try patched 4.11 kernel [1] on TB16? I applied the patch to 4.11 - the patch cannot be cleanly applied to Xenial/Yakkety/Zesty kernel. I'll do the proper backport when the patch is being accepted by upstream maintainers. [1]
