done the test.

Hello,
Would it be possible to test a potential fix in the following PPA :
ppa:louis/kdump-tools-multipath
I do not have the hardware to fully test a kernel dump but the partial
test I have confirm that the modules are correctly loaded.
Please let me know the outcome of you tests whenever

Title:
[Hyper-V] Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS Generation 2 SCSI
Alex and Joshua,
We have now this bug fixed in the xenial kernel in -proposed. Can you
test it and confirm the issue is fixed?
You can follow the instructions in this link[1] in order to enable
-proposed on your system and install the new kernel from there.
[1]
I ran the suggested script without incident (with an additional
autoremove recommended in feedback) and ran upgrade. No errors reported.
The gnome interface for updates now shows up-to-date status. As far as I
can tell, the problem is resolved for me.
Thanks,
Jan Garmany

Tyler - thanks for that.
John - this is coming up in some internal support team escalations so
I'm going to have a look at the kernel changes myself and will let you
know if I find anything. I'd be keen to sync up if you have any leads.

Daniel

Copying the script is probably fine for now. I still intend to look at
this, hopefully in the next month or so. It's been relatively low on my
list, since LTS releases are my main priority.
