No improvements - I got a nice freeze on boot again (kernel 4.12.13).
Also, Windows 10 seems to be working on the same hardware

Joseph, I've been running your test kernel since yesterday. Looking
good, no skb_warn_bad_offload warnings so far. With the original kernel
I was getting hundreds of these warnings every day.

The scrambling issue has repeated itself since my initial bug report. At
the time that it happened, I was only after booting was completed and I
couldn't see or do anything with my laptop until I suspended it with the
power button. On another occasion a few weeks ago, this same issue
occurred and
Can you also build an update for the 4.4.0-93 kernel ?

Kernel 4.13 will be in Ubuntu 17.10, so I hope that will work fine. Has
anyone tested the beta to confirm its ok?

Kernel 4.13.2 working ok for me, run for an hour without issue so far.
Will report back after more testing.
I hope 4.13 kernels will work well, they will be in the Ubuntu 17.10
series and it would be nice to get back off the mainline kernels!
