I have hp-15-ac167nf with wireless chip rtl8723be and ubuntu xenial
16.04 LTS and HWE.
I got same issue: module rtl8723be option ant_sel=2 is not working
anymore from kernel 4.15.0-33.
As a workaround I boot previous kernel 4.15.0-32 (from grub menu).
On same PC, I tried ubuntu bionic 18.04, and
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

also see nouveau in `sensors` output. `systemctl disable nvidia-

packaged drivers. So it definitely appears to be a packaging issue
specific to Ubuntu. Confirmed to work on Fedora and Arch with 390-series
