Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 18.10 does not detect the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 card,
specifically on a Lenovo ideapad 330 laptop.
A current workaround:
- Blacklist the "ideapad-laptop" module.
- Edit/create a file in "/etc/modprobe.d/" and name it "blacklist.conf" or
something similar
I enabled proposed updates, upgraded and removed my blacklist on
hid_steam and rebooted.
Using lsmod after the reboot I can see hid_steam is there.
First test with Rocket League, seemed to work fine and it was detected
as a gamepad properly. The game did crash just after I got in a game
though.
Please try the test kernel in http://172.104.124.10/lp1811755/
