That was tested on 4.15, which is the default kernel in ubuntu 18.04.
When tested on 5.3rc4, without dptfxtract seems to be good enough [1],
although after using dptfxtract, the system is more consistent [2].
So do you suggest users to always have dptfxtract installed? It shouldn't

I get other errors that cause my desktop to freeze a few seconds after
login on that kernel as I did when I tried 5.3.0-rc4 mainline, but I was
able to at least see that the wifi did say it was connected with the

12a6d29 perf record: Fix module size on s390
For Disco, I have also backported the following, which seemed to be a
pre-req:
3376b6b7fb57
The patch for changing TCC offset can only be in for 5.4 kernel. Then there
will be no MSR access.
So the option is to take out of mainline kernel patch to avoid this or avoid
workaround option.
I don't know if there are any other options.

Mouse touch-wheel scrolls intermittently and very slowly. It is
essentially unusable. This occurred after the latest kernel update and
the behavior is reproducible on two identical mice. MOdel affected:
Microsoft Sculpt Touch Mouse.
