I downloaded the released 20.04 Desktop image. I get the same behaviour.
With no additional cards plugged in I do not get a network.

I have noticed instabilities in my bluetooth, mouse and keyboard, whenever I
return to my desk I go back to using my notebook that went into idle mode. In
addition, I realize that when turning on the computer and entering the Ubuntu
login interface,
It doesn’t work for me either. I downloaded latest image and booted live. It
didn’t work there either.
I’m not sure why it was marked fix when it never worked for me. I was the one
who first reported the bug.
